Fish Report for 4-29-2013
Ranger 85 reports on some fabulous fishing for April & takes a look at some trips ahead
4-29-2013
Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85
April 2013 will be a month to remember.
We just wrapped up the weekend with great fishing for 25 anglers.
The trip total was 490 rockfish, 205 whitefish, 156 sheepshead and 24 lingcod.
The guys also managed to boat a few calico bass and some lunker cabezon.
While out on the water today, I could feel the buzz in the air as the Mirage and Aloha Spirit managed LIMITS of WHITE SEABASS. I can hardly contain myself at the prospect of fishing seabass this early.
We are primed and ready to go.
We have two great opportunities this weekend for your chance to SCORE BIG.
First, the Ranger 85 is departing on yet another 2 DAY TRIP Friday May 3 at 10pm.
We will return Sunday May 5 between 6 and 8pm.
This trip will afford you the best opportunity to engage with your first of the season Seabass, as when the fleet heads for home Saturday afternoon, we will still be on the grounds taking advantage of an afternoon and evening bite.
Sunday morning should find us on the grounds in pole position doing battle once again.
This trip is $375 and includes all meals and snacks.
When you fish a multi day on the Ranger, we do it right. Stateroom and open berthing, 4 heads and hot shower...we are comfort at sea.
The next trip I want to highlight is a 1 day trip departing Friday evening, May 3 at 10 pm onboard the Coral Sea.
This trip will target Seabass as well, and promises to please.
Capt. Alex put together some banner catches last season, and had many in the fleet following in his footsteps.
This trip is limited to 19 anglers.
You can book either trip by calling 805-382-1612 or Capt. Frank direct @ 805-794-9653.
Don't delay.
This is the first significant catch of SEABASS anywhere on the coast and these trips will sell out.
We look forward to fishing with you this weekend.
Capt. Frank
