The landlocked stripers are starting to turn on at New Hogan Reservoir
4-12-2013
Bruce Hamby
Surprisingly, we found the 2 to 4 lbs. line sides eager to take our rolling anchovies. This years water temperatures are about 12 degrees warmer than last years, along with low water conditions has moved the season up 3 to 4 weeks. We worked the upper portions of the lake 20 to 40 feet deep. Water temperatures 63 degrees.
