The Trout bite has picked up at Lake Del Valle

Marina Hours: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On March 6, 2013 750 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted. Water Temperature: 56 Degrees
Water Clarity: Minimal

The trout bite has picked up this week. The trout are hitting PowerBait, PowerWorms, Nightcrawlers, Mice Tails, Rapalas and Rat-L-Traps. The Black Bass are hitting Jigs and Artificial baits. Striped Bass are starting to hit, but not very often right now. The best bait for the Stripers is Jerk Bait or Anchovies. The Catfish bite is also getting better, use anchovies or stinky bait.
