Captain Ryan of the San Diego reported some steady action on the Yellowtail today for his 13 anglers. They had 33 Yellowtail and 12 Rockfish for the day. These Yellowtail are all in the 18-30 pound range. They have lost a lot of nice fish, so make sure you have fresh line on you reels and a few yo yo iron in the tackle box. For those of you that enjoy surface iron fishing, they have even managed to land a few Yellows on the long rods. The San Diego has trips departing daily at 5:30 AM.
