Fish Report for 3-9-2013
With the recent pick up in the flows on the East Walker fishing should improve soon
3-9-2013
The Trout Fitter Staff
Water Conditions: Poor, but the flows are up surprisingly to 110cfs as of 3/6!
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Fishing is fairly good about 11am to 3pm. We imagine with the most recent increase in flows that the fishing will pick up as well. With this cloud cover stick to bwo patterns and keep your eyes open for them up on top, as they tend to hatch during the worst of weather. Low crowds and a decent hatch somewhere midday. Get your flies down to bottom to interest slooooow moving fish.
RECOMMENDED FLIES:
DRIES: Parachute Adams #16-#18, Elk Hair Caddis #18, CDC Baetis Dun #16-#18, Extended Body BWO #18
