North Shore & South Shore
Spring like weather is already here with mostly sunny skies and highs in the high 60's to low 70's and lows on the high 30's to mid 40's. Weather info courtesy of www.weather.com.

LAKE NEWS
Annual Day Use Passes (with or without vessels) are available year round and are good for 12 months! Don't forget, if you are disabled or a senior (62 yrs or older), you get your annual pass at half off the regular price! Stop by either gate or marina store to get yours today.

Spring is right around the corner so be sure to take advantage of our lower winter rates good through April 30th. Camp, RV, or stay in a heated cottage while we still have mild weather, less crowds, and still be easy on the pocketbook.

FISH PLANTS
Mt. Lassen Trout delivered 600 lbs to the South shore pond and 600 lbs to the North shore ramp on Monday, Feb 25.

FISHING REPORT
The lake level is still rising steadily. Top lining (10 to 15 feet) is still the way to go with power baits (garlic and rainbow being the favorites) as well as Kastmaster lures, white glitter marshmallows, and night crawlers as baits of choice.

Nathan Lenard of Elk Grove caught a 7.0 lb trout near the causeway while fishing with a rapala lure. Jordan Preston of Galt caught a 4.5 lb trout out of the Trout Pond while using Power Bait.

Ken Wagner of Roseville managed to pull out a 7.96 lb trout while entering the Narrows using a wiggle hoochie.

Another big bass was caught on 02/21/13 by George Yonekura of San Jose weighing in at 13.66lbs and was caught up river while using an Alabama Rig. George released the fish back at the South shore ramp after taking pics which are posted on Lake Camanche's Facebook page.
