Guide Report From Gary Burns

Went out several times last week and the biggest fish of the week was a 2 1/2 lb German Brown, rolling shad working the rocky banks inside the dam. The brown was at 37' deep trolling 1.1 mph,we had a second take down at 27' and that was it, just a take down. You have to stay on the water longer to put limits of bows in your boat but what's wrong with that. The bows are all over the lake, the main part of the lake around the dam and spillway, angels cove and south part of the lake in the back of the coves work for us last week. Blades and night crawlers and smaller ExCels and Kastmasters in chrome and blue did the trick for bows to 15".
