Oroville fishing is getting better!
2-15-2013
Dan Wellls
We fished Oroville today and we seen the first signs of some good size fish eating reaction baits. We caught a few fish on jerkbaits and also caught fish on TNT jigs and senko's, however today our best bites came on an IMA Pinjack crankbait in sexy shad, including this 3.4lb spott! Most of the crankbait bites came on banks with small to medium sized rock in the south fork. The fish seemed to be using 8' to 10' of water and we were using a stop and go retrieve. The water temp ranges 46-49 degrees depending on area, but the fish are showing signs of the spring push. The next few weeks should be fun at Oroville! Good luck and enjoy!
