Glory Hole Sports takes a look at how to dress stock lures in order to catch more fish
1-29-2013
Glory Hole Sports Staff
To catch more fish swap out the stock hooks for dressed hooks and red hooks. Try putting a red hook on the front and a feathered hook on the back. The red hook will give the fish a target in the middle of the bait, which will result in more hook ups. A feather will give your bait action even when sitting motionless. Try these to modifications and let us know how they work.

Here is a great bait that can be used for trolling or casting. It is a Rapala Jointed Shad Rap 07 shad (SD). This is what it looks like right out of the package. It will catch fish just the way it is.

But with a few slight modifications, like a red hook and a feather you might catch a few more fish each outing.
Thanks- from all of us at Glory Hole Sports
