Bridgeport Lake is still fishing excellent. For fly anglers it's been midging with??callibaetis and blood midge patterns,??or??stripping streamers like seal buggers or damsel patterns. Right out in front of the marina and a little??North, or??right out??in the middle of the lake in about 15??feet of water seem to??be the best locations. The bait anglers are hitting with crawlers and power bait pretty well.????

The East Walker is also fishing well still. Dry/dropper rigs seem to be producing the best lately. There's also some good straight dry fly action in the mornings and evenings with PMD's in the am and caddis in the pm. Lots of good WD-40 action for droppers, as well as zebra midges, RS-2's, flashback emergers and various caddis nymphs. The Nevada side is also fishing great, as well as the private section (Sceirine Ranch) in Nevada, both these stretches have much less pressure and still plenty of fish.

The Twin Lakes are doing well with a fair number if 3 and 4 pounders reported lately. Bait fishing with crawlers and power bait, or trolling with blades and spoons or crawlers seem to be the best bet.

The Virginias are still doing ok, though it seemed to slow a bit for the day yesterday. Dries like beetles, ants and caddis have been doing well, also soft hackles and seal buggers for the wet flies are a-ok. For bait it's been power eggs and baby crawlers from the shore.

The West Walker seems to be the best along Hwy 395 up near the town of Walker, the Pickle Meadows section seems to be a little tough.

Haven't heard anything from Kirman lately, though I think if you made the hike you should be able to pick up a fish or two.
