The bank fishing at New Melones is starting to be pretty good. A lot of anglers are catching planted fish near the boat launches. The holdovers are starting to show up also. We have put together a bank fishermen's survival kit.

It includes rainbow garlic Power Bait, mini crawlers, assorted mallows, egg weights, 2 Kastmasters (1 gold, 1 chrome/blue), swivels, and hooks. There are many different ways to rigs these few baits. Stop by the store and we will show you how, and hopefully help you catch some fish.
