Hello from your Lake Jennings!:
If this report seems almost identical, it is. The trout bite slowed somewhat. Boaters still did better than bankies. It is still a salmon peach Power Bait bite. Trolling has been marginal. However the ospreys are doing fine. Cats are still cooperating in deep. The bass have thrown the brakes on. Most anglers are getting one's and two's dropshoting worms or crawdad imitations. Cats are still going strong.

Best Catfish Spots: Cloister Cove and anywhere along the dam buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Morning Dawn worms or creature baits in 25 to 35 ft. of water
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Ikas
Best Trout Spots: Sentry Pt. to Eagle Pt. in 50 ft. of water
Best Trout Bait: Salmon peach and rainbow Power Bait.
Notables: No fish over 3 lbs. or limits under 30 minutes

Prognosis: We will stock another 1000 lbs. of Sierra 'Bows on Thursday. The water temp is 62 and is ideal for active trout. If you want bass fish throw a swimbait. You'll get 1 or 2 or none. The ones you do catch will be larger than average...Don't stop fishing for cats because the water is cold. Just fish deep!

Water Temperature: 62 degrees on surface.
