Don Yeager of Spring Valley gathered 6 lbs 6 oz in his limit. Johnathan Derflinger from Campo managed 8 lbs 10 oz in his creel. The largest being 2 lbs 3 oz. He was using silver Kastmasters and nightcrawlers. Both men were shore fishing in Geezer cove. Watch for another plant before the Mayan Calendar expires.

Catfish The catfish were found this week in Horseshoe cove. Thomas Pressley fooled a nice 3 lb 14 oz whisker. The bait of choice was mackerel or night crawlers.

Blue Gill A few of the pan fish were reported as the anglers were casting for trout.

Crappie The crappie bite has slowed up once again.

Carp These fish are saving themselves for another time.
