TROUT:
The Trout stock that was due to arrive on Nov. 30th has been postponed and will arrive by the end of this week Dec. 7. This stock will include some HUGE Trophy Trout!

Tony Borja, pictured above from San Diego caught a 4 lb. 13 oz. Rainbow Trout out of lake 3 on rainbow powerbait.

Aiden Maki, Photo #1 age 9 caught a 3 lb. 8 oz. Trout out of lake 4 on salmon powerbait and nightcrawler. Aiden also wrangled in a 3 lb. Catfish from lake 4. That's a good day of fishing.

Jason Brumm, Photo #2 age 6 from Lakeside caught an impressive 3 lb. 1 oz. Trout out of lake 2 on a plastic worm.

Jaxyn Cawldren, Photo #4 age 5 from La Mesa caught a 2 lb. 11 oz. Rainbow Trout out of lake 4.

BASS:
Dylan Ryder, Photo #3 age 12 from La Mesa reeled in a 1 lb. Largemouth Bass from lake 4 on a crankbait. This fish was released.

Recipe of the Week:
Grilled Trout

Use Trout fillets with the skin removed. Cut the fillets into 4 inch pieces. Start the grill and get the coals white hot. Coat the Trout pieces lightly with olive oil; this will help prevent sticking to the grill. Place the Trout on the grill and cook for 5 minutes with the skin side down. Then carefully turn the Trout to the other side for 4 minutes. Do not turn the Trout fillet more than once or it might start to crumble. The fillet should flake easily when done.
