"First day of fishing," reported Andy Cates for Red Rooster III November 14, "we caught 10 Tuna between 70 and 180 pounds. Very slow, windy & choppy, offshore buffer zone was quite difficult to work. Yesterday (11/13/2012) it was much calmer, and were able to catch 21 tuna from 120 to 250 pounds, with seven over 200 pounds. Tom Arnold won the Calstar rod blank from Accurate Reels for a 247-pounder on fly line. Today is windy again. We have five tuna from 140 to 180 pounds as of 9:30AM this morning."
