Steve Talmadge

Fellow Sportsmen,

Well this has been my busiest year yet. I am sorry I fell behind on my reports but finding time to sleep was an issue. Today was my last day in the summer season fishing out of San Francisco. I was booked solid most of the summer and had to refer people to other charters. I want to thank all of my regulars that stick with me and the new people that now fish with me as it has been a great summer season. The fishing was quite bizarre this year as the bass never spent time in the day the halibut was slower than last year, rockfish and Ling Cod was the best I've seen in a while. Salmon fishing was good at times and other times it was slow but better than the prior year. If you look at the photo album on the website you will see some nice fish that we landed this season. I leave tomorrow morning for my 2 week vacation hunting elk and antelope hopefully filling my freezer. I will return around November 10 and move the boat to Martinez and start the winter sturgeon and bass season. The reports so far tell me we expect to see a great sturgeon season. I hope it is as good as last year or even better. I am told the bass fishing is good as that's where they've stayed this whole summer. I will find out when I get up there. Enjoy the photos from this summer. The next report will be winter sturgeon or maybe a report from the mountains of Idaho.

Thank You

Captain Steve Talmadge
