Live Squid continues to be the key to success for half-day fishing. Again, the New Seaforth had  an early morning flurry on the 20-30 # Yellowtail and landed 7 out of multiple hook-ups. In the afternoon they caught a 40# White Seabass and a 30# Yellowtail plus numerous Calico Bass and bottom fish. Spool up with some fresh 40-50 pound line and get a shot at this great fishing. Plenty of Squid is available for Sunday's fishing.

In offshore news, the Pride's overnight trip with 17 anglers landed 4 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Dorado and 51 Yellowtail. The San Diego's 3/4 day with 50 anglers caught 77 Yellowtail and a Dorado.

The Voyager's 2 day charter got a jump start on bottom fishing with a great San Clemente Island rockcod trip. 10 anglers caught 200 rockfish and 100 sheephead.
