"We made the attempt at making bait in the dark hours last night," said Intrepid's report for October 2, "but the bait didn't bite well for us in the bright full moonlight. This morning we began our search for Yellowtail and found that it was not in the area were it had been in previous days, so we continued searching throughout the day and found our school in the afternoon. They were biting and by sunset everyone had all the Yellows they wanted with most showered and enjoying a fine cigar with a cocktail as the sun went down. The Salas 6X Jr. scrambled eggs was the hot ticket, the yellows were eating the jig on the sink! Make sure you have some 6X Jr.'s in your box for the upcoming trips. Tomorrow we will be working up into the offshore waters looking for bigger grade Yellow fin or Bluefin Tuna."
