The Striper bite is excellent at Lake Castaic

The Striper bite has been the most consistent in the early morning hours between 6:30 and 8:30 AM. The Stripers are holding tight at the buoy line in the back of the Ski Arm. Necktie Canyon and around Kong Island.
largemouth are biting off the shoreline of the main launch ramp in the early morning and late afternoon. Catfish are being caught by the buoy line and near the entrance of Elizabeth Canyon.
