Fish Report for 9-24-2012
Catfish action has been the best at Lake Skinner
9-24-2012
Lake Skinner Marina Staff
The weather at lake skinner has been in the high 90's. The Catfish action has slowed some, but anglers have been successful in the reeds with chickenliver. We did not see many Bluegill this week, but the bait of choice is crickets.
Largemouth are laying low. They are hittin on plastics and rainbow jerk bait just below the surface. The best spot for the largies is the Inlet. Stripers have been showing if you use top water baits. We have seen limits with swimbaits, jerk bait and chicken liver. The best bite is in the afternoon in the middle of the lake
Trout plant will start November 9, 2012.
