Channel Islands Sportfishing
Summer is technically coming to an end here at the Channel Islands but no one told mother nature. The sun has been out all day and the temps have been in the low 70s on the water. The calico bass are still biting along with rockfish, lingcod, whitefish and sheephead. The Pacific Islander was on a 3/4 day trip today and among the good cod fishing they also put the gaff to a nice island halibut. The Sea Jay scored 2 nice white seabass mixed in with good calico fishing as well. Overall anything can happen here at the Channel Islands. The Pacific Islander is headingo ut Sunday night at 9pm on a 1/5 day trip to Cortez/Tanner banks. They will be looking for bluefin, dorado, yellowfin, albacore and yellowtail. $225 gets you on the boat which includes meals (drinks not included). Call the landing today to book your spot or simply reserve online. Now LETS GO FISHING!
