The forecast for next week is the same, more clear skies and temps in the high 80's low 90's. There is a possibility for some overcast and possible thunder showers.

The water level has dropped about a foot since last report and is about three or four feet below spill and holding. Visibility remains good, presently good to 15 feet plus at the Marina. Water temperatures are unchanged and are currently 68 degrees at the 20 foot mark and 73 at surface at the Marina.

Trollers continue to do well in the River Arm around Twin Coves, Deer Island, Indian Head Rock and Columbia Gulch. The Kokanee are at the same depths as last report, try 75 to 110 feet. Anglers continue to catch Kokanee up the River Arm, some have begun to turn, and they are losing some scales and are a not quite as firm. The Trout have moved to the southern end of the Lake along the barrel line and in front of the spillway; look for them at 25 to 50 feet. The hot lures continue to be Thomas buoyant lures in gold/red, rainbow and fire tiger behind a sling blade or dodger. Hot lures for Kokanee are hoochies, Uncle Larry's glow pink fire tiger, copper popsicles and desert fire lures along with Apex lures in all colors some tipped with scented corn or a piece of crawler behind a medium silver/blue or watermelon Sep's or Lance's dodger.

Fishing at the Woodpile continues to be better than most areas of the Recreation Area again this report for both trout and catfish according to the reports from the Marina. White Power bait continues to be hot ticket for Trout, chicken livers for cats..

Bass fishing continues to be good in and around the coves near the River inlet. The Marina is now stocking Yamamoto slim sinkos and Robo worms in all the popular colors, pair these with a drop shot weight and hold on!

Recent success stories: Mike Nichols Jr. of Tracy and his unnamed buddy got a very nice stringer of Trout and Kokanee using spoons in the River Arm. Congratulations-well done!

Pardee Lake Recreation has planted a total of 33,000 lbs. of Rainbow Trout in combination with the Department of Fish and Game plants of 5,000 for a grand total of 38,000 lbs.
