Fish Report for 9-10-2012

Fishing really slowed at Lake Jennings this week

9-10-2012
Helix Ranger

Hello from Your Lake Jennings: All our fish developed lockjaw over the weekend. There was a little bit of action for cats out at the buoyline but not like it has been. Topwater action for the bass nominal but one buzzbaiter reported catching a couple of cats.

Best Cat Spots: Both the middle of the Hermit Cove buoyline and anywhere along the dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Dam buoyline casting towards the bubbles. Also fish the weedline.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn worms, frogs and creature baits.
Water Temp: 80 degrees.

Prognosis: Fishing will improve because Fall is always a good time. The fish try to put as much fat on as possible for next Spring's spawn. Please take note of our new hours. Until mid-May our hours will follow the Sun.  ? hr. before sunrise to  ? hr. after sunset.
