Fellow Sportsmen,
We are still getting a few surprises and having lots of fun mostly in the ocean. It is fairly easy to get limits of rockfish while filtering out the smaller fish. The highlight of the week was a 33 pound halibut caught on like tackle and a live anchovy. Almost all my fishing is done outside the Golden gate in Bonita Cove and up the Marin County coastline. Everything we do is with barbless circle hooks and live anchovies on 20lb test line. All my fishing is done between 10 feet 55 feet of water. The rockfish and Ling cod bite is best during the slower part of the tides. Tomorrow we will target Salmon at 1st light and then move over to live bait up and down the coast. Monday we start getting a little better halibut tides and we will target halibut at the test parts of the tide. Enjoy the photos.
