Today we had spectacular yellowtail fishing on good grade fish. This was exactly what we needed to break the ice. Most of the yellows were in the 18-25 pound class with a few bigger ones in the mix. Now that we are good on yellowtail, we will be back in the offshore grounds tomorrow looking for tuna and dorado. Wish us luck.

Ballast Point Brewery

We departed today on our Ballast Point Brewery 7-day trip with happy anglers and a whole lot of excellent beer. If you've never tied their beer before, I highly recommend it. It's amazing. After picking up our bait, we cleared the point just after noon. We will be fishing tomorrow morning in the tuna zone hoping to start the trip off right. Wish us luck....... Read More
