Shogun still have slow fishing but satisfied all the same

Happy fourth of July,
Our day was slower than yesterday, not saying that we didn't catch anything, it was just slower fishing. The albacore schools we found just didn't want to get the ball rolling and come to the corner like the previous days we have been out here. The weather is still calm to a slight breeze and a heavy overcast.

One thing I would like to mention. On this trip we have been trying out a number of Blackwater products and one of the standouts is the Solaroam II super strong nylon. Just like the package states, super toughness and hard, we are finding the 30lb. to stand-up to fish after fish.

The Shoguns first day back out was a slow start

This morning started off on the slow side. With the flat calm weather that is upon this area off of baja, we had high hopes in catching lots of albacore. The shogun is back in action

Welcome back!! Yes, its about time. Today we left on Willie's five day charter. This afternoon we ran across a few kelps that were holding a bunch of yellowtail and then right before dark Norman drove us into a biting school of albacore in which we landed 21 out of.
