Capt. Ernie called in with this report for the Chubasco II, "We will absolutely be fishing offshore this Saturday. We have an offshore Open Party trip. We'll be fishing kelps. We went out there yesterday and poked around and we ended up with a dozen fish. 5 Yellowtail & 7 Dorado for 14 Anglers. We were just looking for that one good kelp that would get us back up into range there. We kind of picked and scratched all day. We saw s lot of sign of life and we saw a lot of Dorado that didn't want to bite. Lookin' to the future, we saw lots of signs of life and fish really not too far from Mission Bay. It's a very, very fishable range for us.
