Hello Pacific Queen Anglers,

Things are definitely heating up on the offshore scene. We just got in from an incredible 3 day trip. We had 121 Yellowfin Tuna to 50lbs. 103 Yellowtail to 35lbs. 39 Dorodo and 18 Bluefin Tuna. It was a spectacular catch to say the least. We have caught more on 3 day trips but the quality of our catch was of the charts. It looked as if we were unloading a catch from Guadalupe Island. The best part of our catch was that we were fishing within 130 mile of San Diego, therefore we can easily reach this area on a 1.5 day trip.

Apart from what is going on at 130 miles there has been some really good catches in the local waters. There were two boats on Friday that caught 100 plus Bluefin Tuna in one day range. This gives everyone fishing from 1 to 3 days a chance at making a spectacular catch.
