Ventura Landing ~ Fishing Update
8-3-2012
Mike Thompson
Fish are starting to pop again at the local islands (Anacapa and Santa Cruz). The local fleet caught a lot of white seabass in a well known area that our boats will start to hit this weekend!
Everything for Saturday and Sunday is already booked, but we have openings starting this Monday the 6th.
PACIFIC EAGLE will be departing at 4AM for a full day trips limited to only 24 anglers. Use of a full bunk room is based on a "first come, first serve" basis. They will be targeting white seabass and other big game species like yellowtail, barracuda and halibut.
ISLAND SPIRIT will be departing at 6AM for 3/4 day trips to the local islands. They will also be targeting the white seabass before looking for rock piles to catch red snapper, lingcod, sheephead and whitefish.
