"We had a great morning bite that started in the gray," said Searcher's report for August 2. "A nice school of fish found us and we stayed there until 10:30. We ended up landing 51 bluefin tuna and 6 dorado. There were plenty of opportunities at a quality bluefin. We looked around the area the rest of the day and caught a few yellowtail on kelps and unfortunately no more tuna.
"We are moving up the line 40 miles to another area and will be there before daylight. The weather is great and we are looking forward to tomorrow."
