We did a little looking around this morning in the dark and were able to find a school about 30 minutes before daylight. It took a little while before they came back around but when they did, it was worth the wait. We picked up 60 bluefin out of our gray bite and didn't move far before we found another school where we picked up 150 yellowfin and 25 more bluefin. Mix in a few dorado and yellowtail and call it an awesome day. Just before lunch, we called it a day and started sliding down toward the ridge to see if we can keep the ball rolling and get in on some of the good fishing that's been going on down here for a while. Wish us luck.

We arrived to the tuna grounds just after lunch today and it didn't take long to get things figured out. There was plenty to look at all afternoon and we put together a nice score on yellowfin, bluefin, dorado, and yellowtail. There is still incredible sign of fish down here and one can only hope that it sticks around for a long, long time. We will be here again tomorrow....... Read More

We are currently headed south in flat calm weather planning on fishing tuna for the first couple of days. Conditions look good. Wish us luck... Justin...... Read More
