Good Water Temps And Good Fishing

7-27-2012
Channel Islands Sportfishing

With the water settling down from Fabio, the warm water decided to stay. With average temps from 63-66, the calico bass, sand bass and barracuda are on the chew.  Our overnight boats were out putting in work for tasty rockfish and scrappy white seabass. The Mirage scored a handful of biscuits along with limits of big cod and a nice outer island ling to even it out. The Pacific Islander had a solid rockfish bite today with the Seabiscuit pulling off similar results. Our full day boats had some calico and cuda action with Captain John Fuqua of the Sea Jay putting the steel to a nice island flat fish. Our ½ day and ¾ day boats the Gentleman, Erna B and Speed Twin were on the hunt for tasty bottom fish. All 3 boats did well on the cod with the Speed Twin adding 28 ocean whitefish to the sacks. Overall nice weather and good water temps make it a great time to go fishing. Call the landing today to book your spot or simply book online. LETS GO FISHING!
