Good morning folks, We left the bank yesterday at 0300. Nothing really changed on the fishing. The same scratch on wahoo in the morning with a slight sign of tuna in the morning. The day ended with 14 wahoo and 4 tuna. The biggest fish 160 pounds The last day gave us a total of 56 tuna with 3 over 200 possibly 4 over 200 and limits of wahoo. Obviously the wahoo fishing was good and not just good one day but for the entire trip. Most of the wahoo good size as well 35to50 pounds with some up to 70 pounds mixed in. With the tuna action slowing down the wahoo as taken up the slack. Nice to see that there are still chances at big fish and the mix of wahoo action made for great fishing Not anything like the fall but none the less still good fishing. Our next trip is in May after our annual maintenance and we will keep you updated on additions to the Red Rooster as we continue to upgrade and keep the vessel state of the art.
