"We've been making the long haul on our short trips lately," remarked the report from American Angler July 22, "and today everything fell into place. This morning we got in the right bubble of water and found a Kelp that we spent a couple hours catching mostly good grade Yellows mixed with some BFTs and a couple of Dorado to boot. Late in the afternoon we found the Going Home Kelp, which is when things really got hot and heavy, and all I've got to say is, what a fun day.
We'd like to say Thanks to Mike Flores for being the chartermaster and this trip made up for last year's trip 10 fold.
The weather was great, just a light breeze, little swell and so far it's a nice ride up the line."
