The Sun Is Shining Here At The Beautiful Channel Islands

Channel Islands Sportfishing

Today was a beautiful sunny day here at the Channel Islands. We had 11 boats out fishing for the good stuff. Our overnight boats the Mirage and Coral Sea were on an outer island fishing mission looking for white seabass, big halibut and tasty rockfish. The Mirage scored 3 croakers and 220 outer island quality rockfish for her 24 passengers. The Coral Sea put 5 seabass on the boat along with a few bottom dwellers. Our full day boats are still hitting the shallows hard for sea bass, halibut, barracuda and calico bass. Team Aloha Spirit pulled of a nice WSB while Captain John and the Cobra put a nice flat fish on the deck. The Calico bass were biting for the Sea Jay and Island Tak with a few slim sticks put in the bags as well. The Erna B and Gentleman were on ¾ day fishing trips in search if reds, chucklehead and bankies. The Gentleman scored today getting limits of rockfish for all 59 passengers. The Speed Twin was on an extended ½ day trip and ended up with a nice variety of rockfish, lingcod, sheephead and ocean whitefish. The water temps have soared and the sun is blazing, it is time to go fishing! Call the landing today to book your spot or simply reserve online!
