Frank Ursitti talks about the magnificance of the northern Channel Islands -- It is Special

Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85
Fishing the Northern Channel Islands is an incredible escape from the hustle and bustle of life here in Southern California. Yes, we are the fortunate ones here in SoCal, yet being at the epicenter of millions of people we easily lose track of our Shangri-La. Just a few miles offshore, lay anglers paradise just waiting to be explored.
World class calico bass fishing awaits the avid angler on anyone of our scheduled trips. Kelp beds teaming with fish are our islands trademark. This season, as fish bypass Catalina, we once again experienced and continue to experience a sea bass bite of unprecedented magnitude. Many fish their entire life without seeing a seabass, yet more anglers than anywhere up and down the coast engage and land a fish of a lifetime here in the Northern Islands.
Two day trips offer the most opportunity to really experience the beauty and productivity of these waters. Your first day is a sun up to sundown experience offering you the best chance for success whether targeting seabass, halibut, yellows or simply rockfish.
Here, the angler has a morning and afternoon shot at targeting big game of the region. After a full day of fishing, you will be treated to some of the most scenic vistas as you anchor in a secluded cove for the evening, taking in one of the most remote areas along our coast. Seldom visited, this area is pristine and unspoiled by man.
We have a limited load 2 day trip departing Sunday evening, July 15 onboard the Coral Sea. This trip includes all meals and snacks and is limited to just 15 anglers. You can book online @ CoralSeaSportfishing.com or call 805-382-1612. This is your opportunity to spend a couple days on the water targeting the game fish of the region...sea bass, halibut etc. Over the past 5 fishing days, the Coral Sea amassed 80 White Seabass alone! Take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to fish a true limited load trip in one of the most productive areas along our coast.
See you onboard.
Capt. Frank
