Despite a two knot southerly current and choppy seas last night we will be on time arriving back into San Diegoat 0800 hours tomorrow Saturday June 30 2007. The weather in the typical below Cedros to around the 29 latitude was a bit choppy (not rough) last night and early this morning but as I write this last update for this Seeker/Casper eight day trip our weather is much better and getting nicer as we travel north. WE are very pleased with the outcome of this long range fishing adventure as I have expressed in my posts the past five days, the fishing was not only exciting at times with wide open bites but we accomplished catching multiple species along with excellent quality Alijos Rocks Yellowfin Tuna.
I would like to thank Joe Phister President of Seeker Fishing Rods for the Seeker product giveaways along with Billy Casper and Brian Porter for being such wonderful on board hosts. Joe and Billy always put together a great group of anglers and this trip was no exception, the crew and myself thoroughly enjoyed the time we had with this great group of people and are extremely pleased that we had the good fortune on this trip of great timing to show our group a true long range fishing experience. We are looking forward to seeing all our family and Friends tomorrow back at Lee Palm Sportfishers at 0800.

6-28-2007Yesterday here at Alijos Rocks was just what we where looking for after the action packed three days we spent on the inside, nice steady scratch fishing on yellowfin tuna in the 40 to 120 pound class from mid morning until early evening. This trip has shown our group of passengers pretty much all aspects of the long range experience and yesterday did not disappoint us filling out the final dimensions with good kite fishing for most of the afternoon.......
