Hello Anglers, Today we departed on our Seeker/Berkley 5-day trip with a nice mix of veterans and rookies. We have been fishing with Seeker Rods and Berkley Big Game monofilament here on the Excel since before I started working here in 1997. They are both excellent sponsors for us and we are proud to have them. After picking up our load of sardines, we cleared the point just after 1300. We will be starting off our trip in the offshore grounds tomorrow looking for bluefin tuna. Wish us luck....

What an awesome way to end our Braid Products 8-day trip. The morning started out a little on the slow side for us but once we found them, we were going from spot to spot of jumping bluefin. Today we had a tough time getting one of these bluefin schools to bite. There were definitely a few schools around but we never found the right one. The wind has completely gone away for us now. We are going to spend our last day out here and see if we can have a little better luck tomorrow....... Read More
