San Diego is back on the Yellows
7-3-2012
54 passengers 6 yellowtail 80 calico bass 56 barracuda. Great summertime action taking place at the Coronado islands right now. Yellowtail are always the target species this time of year. However, almost every spot that we try to catch yellowtail at also has calico bass and barracuda. It would be a good idea to bring a 15 lb. bass rod along with your yellowtail gear.

Hi everyone. We awoke this morning to a calm ocean and bluefin marks under the boat. Unfortunately, the bluefin that were laying under us at gray light did not bite. We had another batch of fish later in the morning that did the same thing, no bites. We had to start working to-wards home at 1100 and along the way had some action on kelp paddy yellowtail.
