The trout bite has been doing well and there are some nice looking trout caught this week. People trolling are still having the most luck using Rapalas like the broken back Fire Tiger and Rainbow Runners down to about 15 to 20 ft. in front of Scow Canyon and over near the Dam. Berkley PowerBait colors such as Chartreuse, Garlic and Corn Yellow as well as Spring Green remain the top choice of bait as well as Berkley Mice Tails while also using the PowerBait Trout Dip in Garlic or Roe scents. PowerEggs and Nightcrawlers have also been working well. Crappie and Bluegill are biting for people using bright colored jigs. The Catfish have been biting as well on Chicken Liver and Anchovies. Bass action has picked up also with people using Sinko's in a wacky rig, Crank baits have been working well also.

Main Photo: Orkman Koshkarly of Walnut Creek caught this 9 lb. trout using Power Worms while fishing the Rock Wall (6/24/2012).
Photo #1: Cal (no last name) of El Sobrante caught a 4 lb. Spotted Bass using a Sinko in a Wacky Rig in his secret spot (6/26/2012).
