"We arrived here to Alijos Rocks," said the report from Intrepid June 26, "late in the afternoon yesterday. We did not catch much before dark, only a handful of yellowtail. After dinner we anchored up for nighttime yellowtail. We ended up having a great night bite on good grade yellows in the 25 to 40-pound class. We set up a little different in the morning and ended up having a great day of yellowtail fishing. Most of the fish were over 20 pounds and we ended up catching our daily limits of yellowtail today. We also picked up three yellowfin tuna that were 30 to 50 pounds. Because of the beautiful quality of this fish, we have decided to stay and try our luck again tomorrow."
