Trout fishing is excellent at Lake Hemet, the average size is 12" to 14". The best action is off the point. Nightcrawlers and Atomic Tubes have been working the best. Colder temperatures prevailed this week but anglers are happy with limits, despite the weather. Water temperatures are currently 48 degrees. Boating anglers are still reporting the best trout catch on top with Berkeley Atoimic Tubes. The majority of anglers this week were shore fishermen who got the best results from green PowerBait. Despite poor conditions, several anglers caught their limit. Lake Hemet water temperature is 48 degrees. Very windy and cool weather.
