Fellow Sportsmen,
Well after a week break in between seasons and over a week of spring-cleaning, painting, and repairs on the Flash she's back in San Francisco looking great. I just finished a few trips and I am getting back in the groove. We use frozen bait and then we got shiners and today we got the 1st load of live anchovies. The fishing has been tough in the day for us but things are looking up with the live bait now available. It is good to be back fishing in the bay and in 2 weeks the ocean will be a grand option.
We did manage to land some sharks, striped bass and the 1st halibut of the season was a nice 21 pounder. Today there were a new batch of salmon found at Chimney Rock and I understand they are a very good grade of fish. Enjoy the photo of Mike Rennels with the first halibut of the season.
