Island Spirit has a great day catching Halibut & Calicos

Here is the Island Spirit's fish count for 5/15/12:

1 boat
27 anglers
2 halibut
51 calico bass

Todd White from Ventura Caught an 15 lb Halibut on the Island Spirit. Mike McClanahan Riverside caught a 20 lb Halibut on the Island Spirit, both anglers were using anchovy as bait.

Besides the halibut caught.. water was 62 degrees and clean! CALICO BASS bite was good with all fish caught in one hour. Nice sized fish too! Several up to 5 lbs and an 8 lb calico released.
