Rick Powers checked in with this report from the New Angler. "Eighteen Anglers took 32 Salmon to 24 lbs. plus full limits of Dungeness Crabs (108). We were fishing at 45 fathoms (250' of water), southwest by south of Bodega Head. We had a 12 to 14 lb. average on the Salmon, ranging on up to the low 20's.

We have plenty of room this next week starting with Sunday May 13th. We have light loads every day next week. Salmon fishing is excellent just 7 miles out from Bodega Bay." So if you want to join Rick for some Salmon fishing give him a call at (707) 875-3344.

Rick Powers called in to give us an update on the New Angler's fishing today, "The New Anglers had 12 anglers today and they caught 11 King Salmon. Once again, 12 anglers caught 11 Salmon to 19 lbs.The average fish weighed 12 to 13 lbs ranging up into the high teens. Nineteen lbs. is the biggest.
