Striped Bass spawn is on at New Hogan!

As lake water temperatures heat up the big aggressive males are becoming more active. This weeks clients enjoyed better numbers and bigger fish. Most in the 3 to 5 lbs. class, two that tipped the scale at 6 lbs. plus. The line sides are falling for rolling shad marinated in Pro Cure anchovie and sardine oil, anchovies, herring and soft swim bait. We found our best action down 25 feet over the deeper water from the dam to the Boy Scout Camp. Surface temperatures 70 degrees.
