Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Park Hours: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Water Temperature: The water temperature is 67 degrees at the boat launch, while the temperature in Swallow Bay and Heron Bay is closer to 62 degrees.

Trout fishermen are pulling in limits and bass fishing is excellent. We have seen an amazing amount of 2 lb.+ crappie caught and some large catfish being brought in also. PowerBait colors in White, Chartreuse, Rainbow and Spring Green followed by PowerBait 3" Floating Worms in White, Chartreuse, Pink Shad, Bubblegum, Fluorescent Orange, Cheese or Yellow/Orange used with or without PowerBait Trout Attractant or Trout Dip in Garlic, Corn and Roe are favorites. Berkley Gulp 2.5" Trout Worms in White, Chatrtreuse, Bubblegum or Fluorescent orange are popular too. Kastmaster and Rapalas seem to be the dominate lures for trolling for trout this week. Spinner bait's, senkos and crankbaits have been pulling the bass off their beds. Crappie jigs and crappie nibbles are working for crappie.

The photo above is of Cindy Papp who is showing off her catch at Lake Del Valle including a 6.44 lb. rainbow.
