(photo from today) Island Spirit departed this morning at 6am with 28 anglers, two tanks of sardine and flat calm sea conditions all the way to the islands. Captain Jonny Ewart quickly found some willing biters (mostly reds) in shallow. Moving out they made a couple drops for lings producing 8 nice lunkers. The rest of the day produced a variety of species including sheephead, whitefish, cabezon and more rockfish.

Island Spirit is set to depart again tomorrow this time with an ULTRA-LITE load. 6am 3/4 fishing at its finest!

Also online for Wednesday morning is the Pacific Eagle. 5am departure, full day fishing with an open bunk room.
