Ventura Landing ~ Report for Saturday April 21st 2012

Good fishing for all three boats today. Island Spirit and Pacific Eagle departed at 5am and came back with limits of red snapper and a few lingcod. Pacific Dawn left last night for an overnight trip to San Miguel Island and caught early limits of rockfish with lingod also in the mix. Overcast conditions but otherwise flat calm sea's.

Departing Sunday we have one boat with open spots still available. Pacific Eagle has 2 OPEN SPOTS departing at 5am. Also, Pacific Dawn is departing at 10pm for an overnight trip to the outer islands. Be sure to call and reserve or book online before its too late.

Ventura Landing ~ Nice reds and even better weather!

Island Spirit saw another great weather day to go along with solid red snapper fishing along the coast. Captain Jonny Ewart and his band of 22 anglers caught 210 nice rockfish and 3 rock sole for there efforts. What a difference a week makes! Going from last weeks thunderstorms and gale warnings to the wonderful weather we are currently enjoying.. seize the moment! Lets fish!
