We arrived to the bank just before lunch and it didn't take long to figure out that we were in for a good day. Our first jig strike yielded wide open wahoo for a good 30minutes before we drifted off the shallow. Once out in deep water, the tuna took over. For the afternoon rally, we boated 50 tuna from 90-180 pounds to go with our 80 skin from the initial stop. Most of the fish were around the 125 pound mark. We did hook a couple of heavier fish late but for miscellaneous reasons they got away. There is incredible sign of both wahoo and tuna here and I can't wait to see what a full day here will produce for tomorrow.

4-15-2012The weather has come down for us and is quite nice now. With the wind and swell down it seemed like everyone was outside getting some sunlight and getting a jump on rigging their tackle. The passengers and crew also participated in the annual Big Fish dart tournament on the upper deck. The winners were rewarded with tackle and cash prizes provided by Ralph.
